Paint Party Planning Steps
Finding a date and time
You will feverishly look through your calendar and find 1 or 2 dates that work for the group. We know this can be ( the most ) stressful part of this progress. Don’t worry. We are here to provide you flexibility. To accommodate the ambiguity, we have three courtesy dates hold days for you on our calendar, as you “confirm” with the team that December 10th at 4:00 pm will work. This benefit allows you to hold a day and time with us so no one else claims it.
The Paint Party Location
You can host a paint party from anywhere. [ Your Office | At Home | A Friend’s House | Community Center, Virtually, et.]
Because we can lead your group virtually or in person, there are many options.
Which do you prefer?
Paint and Sip Kits – Delivery
For Virtual Classes – We aim to collect addresses for your party – ASAP, so we can process your order quickly. Paint and sip kits usually take 2-4 business days to arrive in the United States, based on your location.
For In-Person Classes – You tell us when your party is, and we will provide you a deadline for the addresses. From there, you will receive the paint kits plenty of time in advance for your par-tay.
You Choose The Painting Idea

We have taught 100’s of paint classes and have an array of originals.
As an artist, we get inspired by own evolulation and the work of others.
Our Inspiration Board has 1000’s of painting ideas that will inspire you and choose a theme for your paint party.
Perhaps – mountains, flowers, animals, abstract, the outdoors, sunrise, exotic or still life.
Search on Pinterest
You have unlimited options for themes and inspirations. The most important part of choosing your painting idea is making sure it is easy enough to complete within 2 hours.
That is the most difficult part.
Our inspiration board on Pinterest has so many ideas that are carefully selected as examples that can be completed in a sip and paint class.
If you need help deciding, let us know. We are happy to help you choose a few ideas and partner with you on the final painting idea selection.
Consider the Painting Difficulty – Ask Art Instructor
You should talk to the instructor or paint and sip company to make sure the painting party idea is doable for the class time.
1) Consider – How long it takes to paint it
2) How difficult the paint night idea is
The perfect mix will challenge the group, give them opportunity to add their own style and complete the work in 2 hours time.
“Day of” – Paint and Sip Class
Virtual Paint and Sip – Overview
The Instructor will arrive early to test the connection and meet the host a few minutes before people come.
This is a warm welcome!
Participants will need to gather: a cup of water to rinse their brushes, a small plate to mix acrylic paint colors, and a paper towel(s) for any messes.
The Paint and Sip teacher will warmly welcome, say hello to participants as they join the Zoom event, and off we go!
In-Person Paint Class – Overview
Additional Supplies
Setup supplies required to purchase before the class are plastic table clothes to protect the paint on tables, plastic cups for water, a single roll of paper towels and paper plates for mixing acrylic paint colors.
Each person will need these items and the paint and sip supplies.
Setting Up The Room
You will need to set up the room with a table and chair setting for each person. Everyone needs somewhere to sit ( or stand ) with a little elbow room.
Test the technology 30 minutes before the class start. Doing it the day before is even better to ensure everything works correctly.
Beverages and Snacks
Most in-person parties have food and drink for participants.
If you are doing this at lunchtime, encourage people to grab their food before the paint class begins.
Participants are usually focused during the event and forget to eat.
The teacher will build in 1 or 2 breaks for artists to walk around, etc.
